Control method of engine driven water pump

Control method

The controller has three control modes: automatic operation mode, manual operation mode, and test operation mode. The controller has six buttons: "AUTO": automatic mode, "MAN": manual mode, "TEST": test mode, "START": start, "STOP/RESET": stop, "L.TEST/MUTE": Test light and silence

Automatic mode

Press and hold the “AUTO” button (for more than 2 seconds), the LED on the button lights up, and the controller runs in the automatic operation mode. When a fire alarm occurs (passive normally open contact closure signal), the “START/Start” button indicator lights up and a start signal is issued and the unit will start automatically. If the unit fails to start within 10 seconds, it will stop after 10 seconds. If it cannot be started three times in a row, the LCD will display “START FAILURE”. When the diesel engine water pump speed exceeds the starting successful speed, the starter motor exits and the liquid crystal display is “RUN/Run”.After the unit is automatically started, it can only be manually stopped.

Manual mode

Press and hold the “MAN” button (for more than 2 seconds), the LED on the button lights up, and the controller runs in manual operation mode. Press and hold the "START" button (for more than 2 seconds), the start signal will be sent and the unit will start. If the unit fails to start within 10 seconds, it will stop after 10 seconds. If it cannot be started three times in a row, the LCD will display “START FAILURE”. Press and hold the "STOP" button (for more than 2 seconds), a stop signal will be sent and the unit will stop.

Early warning and fault protection shutdown

Early warning Note: The warning is a non-serious fault condition. Generally, some detection parameters are close to the set value of the unit fault. The warning is used to remind the operator to pay attention to the situation that does not meet the requirements and solve it in time to ensure continuous operation of the system. When the warning occurs, the status indicator lights up, the buzzer sounds, but the fault is not locked, the unit does not stop, and the warning light is automatically extinguished once the fault is removed. Warnings will occur in the following cases: charging failure, low battery voltage, low oil pressure, high engine cooling water temperature, overspeed, low speed

Operating requirements for the use of diesel driven water pump before starting

When preparing to start the diesel water pump(such as, diesel dewatering pump, diesel engine irrigation pump, trailer mounted pump, diesel trash pump)for the first time, check the installation of all equipment and start as follows: Inject oil from the fuel filler into the diesel engine and pump suspension, and check the oil level with a dipstick to meet the required height. Add cooling water from the expansion tank to the diesel engine. The water level should be 2/3 expansion tank. Put the diesel in the fuel tank, press the exhaust hand pressure pump, and let the diesel enter the machine through the filter. Connect the water pump inlet and outlet pipes and gate valves, close the gate valve of the water outlet pipe, the outlet pressure gauge and the vacuum pressure gauge. Fill water or vacuum water into the pump and inlet pipe and drain the internal air. Open the external circulation cooling water valve.

· When the inlet valve is fully open and the outlet valve is closed, the diesel water pump is started. When the diesel engine reaches the normal speed, the valve on the outlet pipe is gradually opened and adjusted to the required working condition;
